Overview
Increasing car prices become usual for automakers and now Pak Suzuki announced another jump in its car prices. After the new price hike, Suzuki Swift price reaches Rs. 50 Lacs. According to the Pak Suzuki notification, new prices will be in effect from April 6, 2023.
Jump in car prices is become a routine in the automotive industry and car makers increase prices without citing any reason. Car prices are not stable at one point. Meanwhile, it has also affected the sale. But not only high prices affect the car sale. But import restrictions and delay in LCs approval are other big reasons automakers shut down plants for several days. Suzuki Pakistan recently announced a shutdown for its motorbike and car plant due to non-productive days.
New Suzuki Car Prices
A new price hike is announced for all cars of Suzuki Pakistan. these locally assembled cars will be available at a new rate from 6 April.
New Price of Suzuki Wagon R
- Wagon R VXR now cost you Rs. 3,214,000 after a jump of Rs. 152,000 from the old price of Rs. 3,062,000.
- Few days before Wagon R VXL was available for Rs. 3,248,000 but after a jump of Rs. 164,000 now its cost you Rs. 3,412,000.
- After an increase of Rs. 178,000 Wagon R AGS price increased from Rs. 3,563,000 to Rs. 3,714,000.
Suzuki Alto Price
- Alto VX had a price of Rs. 2,144,000 but now it’s available for Rs. 2,251,000, observing a change of Rs. 107,000.
- Alto VXR price increased by Rs. 125,000 and its previous price of Rs. 2,487,000 changed to Rs. 2,612,000.
- Alto VXR AGS now cost you Rs. 2,799,000 against the old price of Rs. 2,665,000. It observes an increase of Rs. 134,000.
- Alto AGS used to cost Rs. 2,795,000 but after an increase of Rs. 140,000, it reached Rs. 2,935,000.
New Price of Suzuki Cultus
- Cultus VXR is now available for Rs. 3,718,000 compared to the price of Rs. 3,540,000.
- Cultus VXL new price is Rs. 4,084,000 against the previous rate of Rs. 3,889,000.
- Similarly, Suzuki Cultus AGS now cost you Rs. 4,366,000 but a few days before this car was available for Rs. 4,157,000.
Suzuki Swift
Swift is the most popular car but its new price jump makes it difficult for customers to buy a car.
- Swift GL MT observe an increase of Rs. 204,000 and now its costs you Rs. 4,256,000.
- Swift GL CVT price received a jump of Rs. 219,000 and now you can buy this car for Rs. 4,574,000.
- Meanwhile, Swift GLX CVT is now available for Rs. 4,960,000 after a jump of Rs. 235,000.
Suzuki Bolan
Both variants of Suzuki Bolan received a price jump and new prices are:
- Suzuki Bolan VAN now cost you Rs. 1,940,000 against the rate of Rs. 1,848,000.
- Bolan Cargo old price was Rs. 1,852,000 but now it is available for Rs. 1,944,000.
Suzuki Ravi
- Suzuki Ravi price changed from Rs. 1,768,000 to Rs. 1,856,000.
- Suzuki Ravi w/o deck used to cost for Rs. 1,693,000 but after an increase of Rs. 88,000, its cost reached Rs. 1,781,000.
Conclusion
The rising in car price makes car purchase far away from customers. on the other side, automakers are also facing several troubles in production. The SBP does not provide LCs approval and the non-availability of a raw material makes hurdles in production. Automakers observe several non-productive days which cause plants to shut down. But all these problems increase car prices instead of decrease.
