Due to a major Slump in Pakistan’s already shrinking economy. As Pakistan’s economy is nothing short of a nightmare for regional auto manufacturers. The situation at PSMC (Pakistan Suzuki Motor Corporation) is worse. Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) reports, The Toyota Corolla and Honda City outsold Suzuki’s best weapon. Which is named Suzuki Alto, Toyota sold 864 units of Corolla last month. Whereas the Company Honda posted 937 units sold last month and becomes the top seller of the company.
Sales report of Suzuki:
The Pak Suzuki Company (PSMC) surpassed its Japanese peers in terms of decline in sales decreases to 67%. The Suzuki sold 978 cars last month, Contra 2,945 cars in January. The Company overall sold 544 units of the Suzuki Alto, 72 units of the Suzuki Cultus, 67 Units of the Suzuki Swift, 93 Units of the Suzuki Wagon R, 91 units of the Suzuki Bolan (Carry Dabba), and 111 Units of the new Suzuki Ravi.
Car Sales report:
The ongoing economic disaster and the closed LCs leading to the production shutdowns have further shattered. The Government carries no coercive and well-thought plan to repair the damage the prevailing breakdown has done to the Automotive local industry.
As per Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) report, car sales are downtrend in the month-on-month report. The car sale decreased by 47% selling only 5,762 vehicles in February 2023. The episode continue narrating a series of never-ending tale or woes here on year-on-year sales witnessed a decline of a whopping 73%.
