The government has chosen frugality as this is the only way to save the economy. The Federal government announced a 16-month ban imposed on new vehicle purchase. According to the report the ban is imposed till June 24. Whilst, the already imposed heavy custom put a huge burden on the purchase of new vehicles.
Furthermore, this new implementation might cause of pushes car prices higher. Officials might left nothing to suggest except the new strategy, and they put more burden on the new vehicle purchase. The already troubling condition suffer many of the car businesses and the new statement got fired all hopes for the next 16 months.
16-Months Ban Imposed Immediately
According to the report, Prime Minister’s office took immediate action on it and issued a circular to all ministries and divisions regarding the new implementation of the strategy. The order passed to make it in affection immediately. Added more, only Federal Government is conducting the 16-month ban. Whilst the Foreign Ministry and Diplomatic are spare from this measure.
Bank in January, the same condition was revised by the Punjab Finance Department which announced an informal ban on the purchase of a new cars by using the same measure.
Moreover, the provincial Financial department has returned all the summaries of the procurement of the new vehicles and directed to not send such summaries.
Conclusion
Government has taken several steps to control the trade of dollar. For this purpose, all the steps target luxury items and luxury cars are top of the list every time. The stop of luxury car purchase rises the already existed luxury car prices.
