Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer cherry won the gold medal at the 47th International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC), which also called Quality Olympics. This is not the first-time cherry won this award, has been winning this for 5 continuous years. All of these have enabled Chery to become one of the carmakers in China’s auto sector that win the most ICQCC Gold Awards.
Chery Won Gold Medal at ICQCC 2022:

Cherry won ICQCC Gold Medal after more than 24 test applications covering nearly 2 million kilometers in 30 different road conditions. The company received the award due to the Chery Global Quality Management System, which includes product planning, design and development, supplier management, manufacturing, marketing service, and system quality. Furthermore, Chery has developed a quality control (QC) system that is satisfactory to its global factories because of its extensive experience in technical innovation and quality control.
In addition, Chery has expanded its presence in international markets for several years and has established 5 R&D centers, 10 factories, more than 500 authorized dealers, and approved service stations. The Chery QC team is constantly working hard to produce high-quality vehicles in order to increase the bar. The company conducts tests around the world year-round in harsh conditions such as extreme cold and extreme heat. Every Cherry product has to pass these rigorous tests.
