According to The Finance Minister’s Statement:

While addressing his maiden press conference in Islamabad on Friday, the newly appointed finance minister, Ishaq Dar announced a massive decrease in the price of petrol by Rs12.63 per liter and high-speed diesel by Rs12.13. According to the finance minister, the new prices will be applicable from 1st October 2022. During a press conference, Federal Finance Minister stated that the economic indicators are improving. The revenue target for this quarter and for the month of September have been met. Despite the challenging circumstances, we will try to relieve the masses.
New Prices Of Petroleum Products:

According to the Media reports, the price of petrol has decreased by Rs. 12.63, and the cost of high-speed diesel is dropped by Rs. 12.13. Additionally, the rate of kerosene oil is reduced by Rs. 10.19, while the price of light diesel oil (LDO) is reduced by Rs. 10.78.
After the latest reduction in the prices of petroleum products, the new price of petrol is Rs 224.80 as opposed to Rs 237.47, while the price of high-speed diesel has decreased to Rs. 235.30 from Rs. 247.38. Meanwhile, the price of kerosene oil has been reduced to Rs. 191.83 from Rs. 202.02, and the new price of Light Diesel Oil is Rs. 186.50 against Rs. 197.28.
