Let’s talk the bad news that is doing the rounds here about the Suzuki Bolan AC variant discontinuation. Pak Suzuki has reportedly discontinued the air-conditioned variant of Bolan exactly a year after its launch. According to the Suzuki official notification, the company has once again decided to end the journey of this variant. If you recall, notified that the Bolan AC variant is returning after a hiatus of nearly 15 years in September 2021.
Suzuki Bolan AC variant History:

This was not the first time that an air-conditioned variant of Bolan has introduced, and discontinued. The first Suzuki Bolan with AC has launched in 2006 – 2007, but it was a failure mostly because of overheating and weak engine performance. The performance of Suzuki Bolan’s AC was not satisfactory, especially in summer, so it had discontinued. Furthermore, Bolan’s engine is also located under the driver’s seat, therefore an overheated engine would be extremely uncomfortable for the driver.
After it’s reintroduced last year, the current AC variant of Suzuki Bolan has examined after it relaunched year and came to the conclusion that the vehicle body shakes after the AC switched on. Although the Bolan throw was strong, we had thought that it would be a success this time. Unfortunately, various Suzuki Pakistan dealerships reported that the AC variant has discontinued.
Reasons Behind Bolan AC variant discontinued:

The Suzuki Bolan AC variant has discontinued due to various factors. These reasons are as follows:
- The first reason as already mentioned above could be overheating, body vibration, and loss of engine power. It was the main reason it has discontinued earlier and is a high chance of happening again.
- The second likely reason is that the company has a certain number of AC units that have installed last year and has since concluded that the AC variation is not financially viable.
- Another factor could be fewer sales, particularly in the previous two months, as the company only sold 580 Suzuki Bolan cars in June and July 2022.
