Concept of Electric Dodge Charger:
Chrysler, the owner of the Dodge brand, has stated that the market is evolving and going toward electrification, the current Charger and Challenger generations will the last gasoline-powered models. He added, the upcoming generation will powered by electricity, and Dodge has unveiled the Charger Daytona, their next-generation vehicle’s functional production concept. The company claims that despite being an EV, the car will feel, look, and drive like a Dodge.
Inspired Outlook:
The forthcoming EV sports a squared-off exterior style on the front and rear with disguised headlights and full-width DRLs, drawing inspiration from the first generation. Additionally, the model receives an “R-WING” which, for optimal effectiveness, uses a front aerodynamic wing. The sloping roof has a complete glass panel and a rear hatch that opens vertically for maximum storage. The EV’s rear end features the same design aesthetic as the first generation with contemporary Race-Track lighting and wrapped-around LED taillights.
New Design Cabin:
when it comes to the interior it’s an all-new design approach for Dodge models that carry various innovative features, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and a massive 16-inch instrument panel that offers all vehicle-related information.
Powertrain and Performance:
Dodge did not provide any technical information but did state that it will employ an 800V DC architecture that is quite powerful. Dodge has stated that it will be all-wheel drive and that can outpace the most potent existing Dodge vehicles. Additionally, the vehicle will have an e-Rupt function that will improve the vehicle’s power when combined with a multi-speed transmission system. The concept car has numerous driving modes, including Auto, Sport, Track, and Drag, which are all switchable via the steering wheel.
Production Electric Dodge Charger:
We may anticipate the production model to be revealed sometime in 2023. The company announced production model will debut in the year 2024. Dodge will likely also produce a four-door model to take the place of the present Charger.
