“I used to pay about 160 Jordanian dinars (about USD 225) a month on gas, but the Skywell electric vehicle only costs me 20 dinars now’’.
A Changan Sale Manager Said:
According to Yehya Shanti, a sales manager at a dealership on Mecca Street in Amman, Changan launched its NEV model to the Jordanian market last year and sold 500 units. Changan currently has more than 1,000 units on the waiting list, they have expected to supplied to clients before the end of this year.

It is stated that Jordan is home to a very bright subgroup of Chinese NEVs. With the increase in petrol prices globally and people’s desire for an eco-friendly lifestyle is accelerating and expected that the number of NEVs will increase this year. According to data released by the Jordan Free Zone Investor Commission in August, the clearance of electric vehicles in Jordan increased by 227 percent in 7 months compared to 202 for the same size in 2021.
