Toyota
If we see the Pakistan market and want to buy a strong vehicle then the most reliable and strong vehicle which comes into our minds is TOYOTA. We know better than a vehicle from Toyota can better compete with the road conditions of Pakistan. And as compared to other brands prices of Toyota is cheaper if we compare them according to the specifications. Although Toyota’s most selling vehicle 1.3XLI and 1.3GLI doesn’t have the basic safety features in Pakistan still is the most-liked vehicle among the buyers. The maintenance cost of Toyota is lower and also the after-sale services are cheaper in the same segment of other brands in Pakistan. Not even locally assembled but in the imported vehicle, Toyota is the most demanding unit in Pakistan.
Positions
If we talk internationally then Toyota has a lot of achievements in comparison to other big brands. Recently a competition was held and Toyota consecutively for the third time have shaded out all big brands in Interbrand’s Best Global Brands list for 2021.
All big international brands were in the competition but Toyota wiped them all out and, in terms of value, and got overall 7th position, got a recording of 5% annual growth in value.
The below-mentioned automakers made it to the top 25:
- Mercedes-Benz got 8th position in Year-on-year growth with 3% increment and overall got 2nd position among all competitors.
- BMW got 12th position in Year-on-year growth with a 5% increase and overall got 3rd position among all competitors.
- Tesla got 4th position overall and got 14th position in the year on year growth rank with an increment of 184% and this is the highest in the top 25 companies.
- The thing is that previously Tesla was at 6th position but now it is promoted to 4th.
- Honda got the 5th position overall and got the 25th position in valuation with a 2% drop in the value.
Will Toyota sustain this position?
Toyota is currently the top auto manufacturer in terms of numbers. Even in the last year, they beat the Volks Wagen in terms of numbers. But it seems that soon Toyota may lose its position because they are lacking the production of Electric Vehicles. Although they are producing Hybrid Engines they are lacking fully electric engines. They should take a look at Tesla and its position and growth in the percentage.
The other international brands a gradually moving towards electric engines but Toyota is still making progress in fully petrol, diesel, and Petrol Hybrid engines. They need to see the fact that currently, the world is trying to be more Eco-friendly, and in automobile sectors, electric engines are more eco-friendly than petrol or other engines.
But Toyota is still sticking to Hybrid- electric engines as they say that electric hybrid engines are more realistic to reduce carbon footprints.
