The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority suggested to the government to reduce the prices of petroleum products for March 2020.
Authorities have suggested to the government to reduce the price of petrol by PKR 6 per liter and high-speed diesel price will be decreased by PKR 7 per liter. If the government approved this statement the new prices will in effect from 1st March 2020.
According to the details, the prices of petroleum products are very high in the country because petrol prices are high in the international market. Now the prices are going down because of spreading corona virus, the virus is spread very fast and imports and export from the countries who are surviving with this virus are banned. This is a big reason for the fall prices of petrol in the global market. The international market is down in loss because the import from china and its neighbor is closed.
