Well, the people of Pakistan should get ready because the Government is all set to put an increase on the CNG rates by PKR 15 from the next upcoming month. Straight away into the new development, it is all the way reported that the government would increase the prices of CNG by PKR 15 per kilo.

Which Provinces are affected by CNG Increase Rates?

As by the details, hence the increase over the rates will be affecting the CNG stations in KP, Sindh, and Balochistan most of all. On the other side, the all the gas stations in Punjab will not be affected on much as almost all the gas stations have on the whole converted from CNG to LNG.

On the other side, the new price of CNG is somehow has been hence likely to get affected as from the current team of the week. As getting into interaction with the media, it has reported that these are deliberate efforts just as to convert the gas stations of three provinces to the course of the LNG from CNG with the standing of the aim to give a huge benefit to LNG terminal operators.

Nevertheless, the Federal Government is bringing a rise in the gas tariffs by 40%. Besides being increasing on with the prices of CNG, the government has scrapped over the side of the OGRA’s recommendations to raise the prices of petroleum products straight away into the country. The authority had on the whole also recommended surging the prices by up to PKR 4.41.

How much have CNG rates Increased?

Chairman of the sub-committee name das Senator Shahi Syed noted that the GST on top of the CNG increased from the range level of the 17 percent to 34pc. The new CNG rate for the area o the Zone-I is Rs75.82 per kilogram. Potohar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is also part of this zone.

For Zone-II it is adding on with the names of the Central and South Punjab, Karachi and Balochistan, the new CNG rate is almost counted to be Rs67.50 per kilogram. The GST is virtually 5pc in Punjab, while 17pc in rest of the other provinces.
