The caretaker government of Punjab gives the first license for an e-rickshaw to the most popular rickshaw manufacturer Sazgar. Sazgar has made the worth of rickshaws with the best manufacturing quality. The company has earned this license with their efforts and appreciated work.
The step has been taken toward the improvement of electric vehicle production in Pakistan. In this regard, the government has played a crucial role and offered its support to electric vehicle production. The government’s focus on this e-production project will help automakers. Apart from this, In Punjab, rickshaws are the cheapest and easiest traveling option. The production of electric rickshaws will improve Punjab’s environment and travel structure.
Sazgar E-Rickshaw License
Sazgar’s head Asad Hameed received the e-rickshaw license during a ceremony held in Punjab. The caretaker Prime Minister Mohsin Naqvi was also attending today’s meeting and wished the greeting to Sazgar for this biggest achievement.
The previous Rs. 2 million taxes on every new variant introduction of electric vehicles have been cut off with a great reduction of amount. It is announced to facilitate automakers and appreciate their efforts in e-vehicle production.
The license of e-rickshaw manufacturing will open a new era of EV production. Pakistan’s automotive industry needs improvements in production. EV production is necessary because of environmental factors.
The vast production of electric rickshaws will reduce the burden and be a cheap transportation option for citizens.
