Overview
The Punjab government has revised the annual driving license fee. The fees is increased with new terms. As per their previous statement, they already informed the citizens that prices will be increased for the year 2024. Lahore City Traffic Police has announced the year’s end. The price of the license will be increased from 1st January 2024 and it’s for a learner’s driving license. They made announcements to give a chance to citizens for cheap price licenses.
It’s pertinent to mention here that the fees for driving licenses will revised on an annual basis instead of 5 years. There is still a chance to apply for a license before the rules change.

Traffic Police Operation
City Traffic Police Lahore doing strict operations against driving-less drivers to ensure the road safety program. They started strict operations after the horrible accident that happened in Lahore DHA by a teenage boy, driving a car without a license. The strictness on driving licenses has been spread all around Punjab whose purpose is to ensure no one without a license can drive. It is necessary to control the increasing number of road accidents.
The operation has been doing great and Punjab Police has issued 74,000 learner licenses in a single day in Punjab. Due to pressure from high authorities, they never allowed any privilege to anyone. The operation is taking everyone and strictly goes against the illegal, teenage, and non-driving license drivers.
