2018 New Car Models Likely To Be In Pakistan

For car enthusiasts and local automobile market, year 2018 is going to be believed the year of hope. As many international auto manufacturers are approaching the country at the same time as some may invest through current Pakistani automakers. This is not only restricted to international players but also the local auto manufacturers are prepared to introduce many new vehicles in the car market. There is a compiled a list of brands and the potential 2018 car models we believe that will be readly available in 2018’s Pakistani automotive market. The blog holds both the verified models as well as the rumored ones.

Renault

French Automaker Renault has signed an agreement with Al-Futtaim to join in Pakistani market. As per the deal, Renault will bring its latest products and technology at the same time as Al-Futtaim will set up a new manufacturing and assembly plant and hand out the cars. It is anticipated that the first vehicle launched by Renault and Al-Futtaim would be Renault SUV Duster—French automaker’s iconic vehicle.

Kia and Hyundai

Two Korean automakers , Kia and Hyundai, are also coming to Pakistan. Both Korean companies are partnering with two local companies to start on with new cars. Kia Lucky Motors and Hyundai Nishat Motors are two companies to debut the Korean cars in Pakistan. Kia will be launching four vehicles in the country that have also been spotted in Pakistan.

2018 Kia cars expected to be launched in Pakistan:

  1. Kia Picanto 2018 (Hatchback)
  2. Kia Rio 2018 (Hatchback)
  3. Kia Sportage 2018 (SUV)
  4. Kia Carnival 2018 (MPV)

2018 Hyundai cars probable to be launched in Pakistan:

  1. Hyundai Elantra
  2. Hyundai Tucson (Crossover)
  3. Hyundai Verna
  4. Hyundai Creta (Crossover)

 

Volkswagen and Sazgar

Sazgar Engineering Works Ltd has signed an agreement with a Chinese auto manufacturer for the assembling  and distributing of cars in the local market. Moreover, German automobile giant Volkswagen’s member of board’s Management Dr. Joseph Baumert also met with Prime Minister of Pakistan in his office and uttered its intention to invest in Pakistan.

 

Coming to the local auto industry.

Toyota

IMC will commence a diesel variant of 2018 Toyota Fortuner . Furthermore, it is also predictable that the company will put an end to its iconic GLI and XLI models. Nevertheless, we foretell that they will be replaced by either 1300cc 2018 Vios or a 1.0L 2018 Yaris (Vitz). It is also relevant to mention here that Toyota will also be introducing a new Hybrid Toyota Camry 2018 in coming days.

 

Pak Suzuki

Pak Suzuki is planning to start on a couple of new models of vehicles in 2018 plus bringing updates to the current lineup. Furthermore, The Company on Monday has commenced all-new 2018 Mega Carry for its local consumers.

Honda Atlas

Honda Pakistan is all ready to re-launch its 1.5L Honda Civic turbo in the first quarter of 2018. The car was discontinued after a persistent knocking problem.

Road Prince

Road Prince has joined hands with DFSK—a Chinese company and launched three CBU (Completely Built Units) vehicles for 2018 in the country underneath the banner of Regal automobiles.
