The Drive
Nice ride quality and the power steering help to comfort the drive although the driving pose itself isn’t bad at all. There are seat belt remainders too.
To handle bumps, the suspension is quite well. It will handle our Pakistani road conditions nicely. The concerning thing about the car is that when you want to reverse the car, there is a very small rear window which creates it approximately unfeasible to look out.
The gear knob is not one of the best either but the good point is that gear change isn’t sticky. On the whole the drive was satisfactory for a car of this size.
The Verdict
Here in Pakistan it is priced at PKR 11.72 lac (which is a heavy sum for a little car) where as in china it is the cheapest car. Z100 comes equipped with auto-headlight off function, and windows that can be pulled down with a remote, it still misses out driver & passenger airbags and ABS brakes.
It is to be noted here that the cars like FAW V2 have the same features and a lesser price and the build quality is by far better than the Z100, although the Suzuki competitor for all time win on cheaper maintenance and resale. For that reason give the impression that it will be very hard for Z100 to draw buyers while FAW V2, Pak Suzuki Wagon R & well equipped used JDM minis are obtainable in our market at a much rational price tag.
HRL Motors have to call for the price down to a down-to-earth level or else the Z100 will stay driving back potential buyers. If it has a low price tag than the FAW V2 then the Zotye Z100 is a good buy, or else if you crave to spend approx 12 lac on this car, we consider it acquires ample of bravery to make such choices.
