All-new 11th-gen Honda Civic 2022 has earned a top rating from the Euro NCAP (The European Car Assessment Program) safety assessments. The 2022 Honda Civic has scored a five-star safety score in the latest Euro NCAP crash test. It obtained this ranking after passing the new, more rigorous Euro NCAP test criteria. Honda striving to reduce the number of deaths from traffic collisions in its vehicles to zero by 2050. For this purpose, the carmaker is working to make structural and technological improvements to its vehicles.
Honda Civic Performance at Euro NCAP:

In the Euro NCAP safety test, the all-new 11th Generation Honda Civic performed well in the categories of adult Occupant Protection (AOP), Child Occupant Protection (COP), pedestrian protection, and Safety Assist (SA). The car got an overall score of 89%. The Civic’s body features a variety of structural bracing that improve the vehicle’s overall passive safety. It includes Revised front bumper beam safety plates, a pop-up hood with an embossed membrane structure, and additional front door stiffeners and wheel arch frames in the back, which enhance side impact performance.
These are bonded with a full-width brace that reinforces the connecting edge between the floor and the resin bulkhead to help regulate and minimize deformation in the event of a head-on or offset frontal collision. Due to the European i-Size ISOFIX mounting points, the car also performed well in the Child Occupant Protection test by scoring 87 percent.
Honda Civic Incorporates Structural Improvements:

Honda incorporates several structural improvements to Euro-spec Civic. The revised Honda Sensing-based Civic includes Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS). It includes 11 airbags, a 100 degree camera, a high-speed processor for autonomous driving features, new sonar sensors, and better structural bracing.
Honda’s extensive sensing offering includes an enhanced Forward Collision Warning System, designed to detect the presence of a car ahead and issue audible, visual, and tactile alerts to warn the driver when approaching at high speeds. Thus, the all-new Civic has received a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety along with a 5-star safety rating from ASEAN NCAP (IIHS).
